Bihar News : पीएमसीएच से गंगा एक्सप्रेस वे की कनेक्टिविटी होते ही अशोक राजपथ पर डबल डेकर सड़क का निर्माण शुरू हो जाएगा। अभी पीएमसीएच के मरीजों की फजीहत के कारण ही शिलान्यास के छह महीने के बाद भी इस पर काम नहीं शुरू हुआ है। चार सितंबर, 2021 को इसका शिलान्यास मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने किया था। इसे सितंबर 2024 में पूरा करना था।
इसी साल जुलाई से लोकनायक गंगा पथ एक्सप्रेसवे का लाभ पीएमसीएच के मरीजों को मिलने लगेगा। पीएमसीएच से गंगापथ को जोड़ने केलिए अलग से लेन निर्माण का कार्य लगभग 80 फीसदी पूरा हो गया है। लेन निर्माण के लिए पाये बना लिए गए हैं और इन पर गार्डर चढ़ाने का काम तेजी से चल रहा है। मौके पर काम करने वाले इंजीनियरों की मानें तो इसी महीने गार्डर चढ़ा कर उसपर सड़क निर्माण का काम शुरू हो जाएगा।
जून अंत तक सड़क निर्माण पूरा करने के बाद जुलाई से इसकी कनेक्टिविटी पीएमसीएच से हो जाएगी। राजेंद्र सर्जिकल ब्लॉक के बगल से होते हुए अशोक राजपथ से जुड़ेगा गंगा एक्सप्रेस वे पीएमसीएच में राजेंद्र सर्जिकल ब्लॉक के बगल से गंगा एक्सप्रेस वे को अशोक राजपथ से जोड़ा जाएगा। अशोक राजपथ से जोड़ने के लिए पीएमसीएच के राजेंद्र सर्जिकल ब्लॉक के बगल वाले हिस्से को तोड़कर समतल बना लिया गया है।
भविष्य में इसके पास मल्टी लेवल पार्किंग निर्माण की भी योजना है। अशोक राजपथ से जुड़ने के दौरान पीएमसीएच के कुछ और पुराने हिस्से को तोड़ना होगा, जिसपर जल्द काम शुरू होगा। गंगा एक्सप्रेस वे से पीएमसीएच के जुड़ जाने के बाद मरीजों को अस्पताल पहुंचने में जाम नहीं मिलेगा। अभी अशोक राजपथ पर मेट्रो का काम चल रहा है, जिसके कारण हर दिन घंटों जाम की समस्या बनी रहती है और मरीजों को अस्पताल पहुंचने में देरी होती है।
